Well, that is exactly what you will find in a dreamy 300-year old hamlet called Nathan in District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. Away from the hustle & bustle of Delhi & Chandigarh, Jaadooghar Nathan sits in the lap of the picturesque Dhauladhar range. This beautifully constructed home is heritage in every sense of the word – it is over a hundred years old, seeped in the traditions and rich legacy of the terrain it occupies.
The property is equipped with common spaces such as a community dining space, sitting spots in the open, a large hall and a garden. As your home away from home, sample homemade and local delicacies, engage in treks around this beautiful Himachali village and enjoy bonfire evenings with your loved ones.
JAADOOGHAR EXPERIENCES
Hikes and Walks
Walk through the stunning mountain woods, tall cedar tree covers, and breathtaking views. Feel free to engage with the locals, listen to their stories, or simply collect Christmassy pine cones. You can even carry your own yoga mats and set them up in the woods for a rejuvenating meditation session. Carry packed lunch from the property and set up shop anywhere your heart desires; our apple orchard 45 minutes from the property is a hot favourite for such leisurely afternoon picnics.
Private Dinner
For an authentic Himachali dinner experience, your hosts can arrange for a unique sit-down culinary setup in Jaadooghar Nathan’s own premises or on another heritage property in the village close to ours. The local fare consists of Himachali dishes like Siddu, rajma, curries etc. Dinner is such beautiful surroundings is sure to leave your stomach and your soul satiated. Please note that this is a paid experience.

LOCATION KNOW-HOW
The property is located in a small village called Nathan, just about 8 kms ahead of Naggar in District Kullu of Himachal Pradesh. This little hamlet is only about an hour away from the famous hill station of Manali, allowing you to visit all the local touristy spots yet setting up base away from the holiday crowd. Nearest airport to the property is Bhuntar, about an hour away from the property, from where local taxis may be taken to the property. Nearest bus stop is Patlikuhal which is only 14 kms from the property, from where local taxis are easily available to the property doorstep.
HOUSE RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE
You can opt to get delicious and simple home-cooked food from the in-house chef. Some local dishes can also be made depending on the availability of raw materials. Room tariff is inclusive of complimentary breakfast. Lunch and dinner are charged separately.
We try to maintain the highest standards in hosting which includes the smooth functioning of all the amenities. However, since it is a village in hilly terrain and manpower resources are difficult to arrange on short notice, please bear with us as we try to do our best in case of any amenities malfunction during your stay with us.
